Pollen can make the courts slippery.
Organized play outside begins in earnest next week. But powerwashing the courts to remove dirt and pollen generally occurs in mid-May, after the surrounding trees have released the bulk of their pollen.
This means that for a couple of weeks, or so, the courts could be more slippery than normal...particularly when wet. The resurfacing that occurred last year did improve the traction on the courts, but please be careful. And remember...
Have fun...be safe...and respectful.
Cheers
